I learned how to use chop sticks, and that anything worth eating with them is better off being eaten with a fork.

I learned how to make worm tea. :D
I'm making some now with fresh worm castings from my worm bin; also added some good old fashioned compost, molasses, and fish emulsion (which really stinks actually lol).
Tomorrow we'll see how well I learned lol xD
Where you come from is gone, where you thought you were going to was never there, and where you are is no good unless you can get away from it. Where is there a place for you to be? No place... Nothing outside you can give you any place... In yourself right now is all the place you've got.

Today I learned:

1.  Never ride an elephant in shorts
2.  Never accept a person's offer of 'worm tea'
3.  Stick with the knife and fork

I think probably he was spying on geckos (or other little creatures) ? or maybe he likes a tingling feeling of the microwave (well, he electrocuted me!) when he sits on it.

I been electricuted on a microwave. Me mum had taken the front off and shouted me in to take a look at it. Only when I poked it did I realise she'd left it plugged in.
Does you cat really get off on the static? Maybe it's the vibrating.

Today I learned that cats like bass guitar

lol maybe it felt like full body massage for him, or bioelectric therapy (humans pay for it while my cat's smart enough to figure out how to get one for free).

Not getting a hair cut for long periods of time isn't so bad, that whole thing about having to get a trim every 4 weeks has to be a myth. Haven't cut my hair in almost 6 months and yet it looks long and healthy.

I've been dealing with this issue for quite a long time already, it is jealousy. Honestly, I really wanted to ask God why God gave humans such a complicated feeling. It kills me. Today, I was jealous at someone and felt really guilty for that.

Lesson learned: I'm still learning but so far these steps have shown some positive effects.

Let it go, try to be more ikhlash.. fasting helps as well to make you more patient & ikhlash. Im fasting today (Monday/Thursday fast), hopefully nothing fails it.

What i learned today : If i wear mukena while walking at 3am alone, security guards wont follow or watch me suspiciously. Next time if i wear black pants, id seem like a floating ghost and might freak them out a bit. lol. Gonna try it tomorrow.

It's all about where your focus is. If you focus on rich good-looking extraverted people and people in magazines, you're going to go through a life of guilt, jealousy and disappointment. But if you focus on people who have it rough and don't have the things you have (be it skills or material objects), you won't need to vent or admit anything.

Get your focus off the person who made you jealous and focus on someone that's probably jealous of you. Instead of feeling guilty, you'll probably feel like you want to help, and it's great practice for self-gratitude, being grateful for things we take for granted. With some effort you'll be able to avoid jealousy, or at least feel a minimal amount.

I'm bringing this up here, because I think it's relevant. I've noticed that quite a few people who have amputated limbs, are paralyzed, blind, etc. are much less serious than people who are in good physical health, and they seem happier. This is because a tragedy made these people re-evaluate their gratitude for all the other things they didn't lose. For people in good physical health, a tragedy doesn't happen, and the prompt to re-evaluate their gratitude doesn't occur. That's why we need to prompt ourselves.

Gratitude IS the bedrock of happiness; to pursue happiness is to pursue gratitude. And it's very easy, but it takes practice. Start a journal and write about all the things you're grateful of. Having legs, so you can walk, having ears so you can ear, having eyes so you can see. And then try going outside yourself. If you went to McDonalds earlier and had a burger, (silently) thank McDonalds for having a store there, thank the person who served you, thank the people who prepared it, thank the Bakery for making the buns, thank the various people for the condiments, thank the farmers who grew the lettuce and tomatos, thank the machinery makers for providing the machinery needed to farm the food, to bake the bread, even thank the cow that gave his life for fast food. And then thank your job, whatever it is, thank your boss/worker, and thank your bank, for providing money to pay for the meal.

It seems silly, which is probably the number 1 reason why this doesn't happen nearly enough. It's not silly at all, and even if people think it is, you don't need to tell them about your journal.

Hey Lib, I think jealousy is totally normal and one should not really feel guilty for it. If it transforms into really harsh feelings like wishing bad stuff on the person of whom you're jealous OR if it leads you to be really bitter to the point where you are distracted from your own life...then its a problem.  Otherwise its ok to be a little jealous. I mostly get envious, jealousy is too strong. Envy to me is 'I wish I had that' where else jealousy is more like 'I hate that person because he/she has that'. Jealousy is pointless.

Thank you robert, Sol and Katrina.

I've understood it better and feeling ok about it. Yes, gratitude is the key for acceptance and happiness, I'll put this topic in the journal. Feeling jealous is ok at times, because it makes you to want more in your life but we all know what will happen when it becomes too much.

Lesson learned: Still learning..
