If its depression perhaps you gotta do stuff to get your mind off things?

It seems like you have situational depression, rather than "clinical", though maybe you have both.
If you're open to it and can afford it, you could go to a therapist, but if this isn't possible, you could read some books, on-line blogs or watch some YouTube by people who share your problem.
There's a relationship forum on PsychForums (www.psychforums.com).  You'd probably find people there who have similar situations and may have some advice for you.  Even just talking about it might help, even if nobody has the perfect solution.
Sometimes heartbreak just takes time to heal.  You just have to tough it out 'til it does.
