yeah, there is no need.
Don't understand drinking, smoking or taking drugs. Another thing is night clubs. What's that about?

Yea, same for me. I've been clubbing twice in my whole life, both time with college friends/people, it was really uncomfortable both times, I didn't know where to look, wasn't interested in the skanky chicks or the drunk guys...and Im not into striking up conversations with tipsy people in loud places where you can barely see what the hell is going on around you. I just felt like I needed to get out of there and get some air and peace.

I don't mind rock concerts. If I'm up the back with no-one around and it doesn't hurt my eardrums. Yeah, clubbing is a bad experience.

they r all stupid...

plus they taste or feel horrible...

sure the effects numbs you to it, in addition over time you don't taste it...

but that would be horrible... you will be losing your sense of taste along others...

i know a couple of smokers who say they can't taste a thing!!!

Drinking - Not fond of it, though I have tried a few drinks of Mike's Hard Lemonade Raspberry Margarita (which doesn't have much alcohol in it, anyway).  I may try sips of alcoholic beverages again, but it'll only be at certain times of the month.
Smoking - Gross, no thank you.
Drugs - I will only take over-the-counter pills when I feel I need to, which isn't all too often.

I will never do any of those things. I don't want to cause harm to my body because I want to live for as long as I can.

the one thing I'm pretty sure about in life is never to drink and smoke..and I completely agree social gatherings with friends always have such things and if you don't do with them ,they feel you are not with them or not amongst them.
or some guys say "what kind of boy is he ...he don't smoke , drink or have sex ...he is just like a kid and will never grow up"
but thats not true..how such things make you grow or make you "THE MAN" . I completely cannot understand where such concept came from.
anyways I said what I want to...
thanks....

I've done all of those things. None of them really appealed to me, though.

I don't like the taste of alcohol, but I do really like beer. Good beers, dark and rich. You can't even taste the alcohol because there really isn't a whole lot in beer. Plus if it's a good brew, I'll fill up with just two or maybe three servings, and then I'm done.

Tobacco just sucks. It kills you slowly and stinks, too.

I've smoked cannabis on a number of occasions, and it's alright. I enjoy a little bit every once in a while, but that's not very often. Just a few times a year, maybe.
Where you come from is gone, where you thought you were going to was never there, and where you are is no good unless you can get away from it. Where is there a place for you to be? No place... Nothing outside you can give you any place... In yourself right now is all the place you've got.

I like to smoke weed with my friends sometimes, or drink some beer with them. I used to drink and smoke until i can't walk anymore when i was younger but now i'm older so i stopped. It still happen sometimes but like two times every years, like when i'm depressed or i have like a huge problem i drink until i pass out and then i get over it. Not in an alcoholic way, but when it's too big and i have nobody to talk to, getting drunk helps. Btw i do not encourage anybody to do the same, it's my way to deal with my problem when i have too much, and it's not the best. For tobacco i'm a smoker and i enjoy it, sitting in front of the tv with my guitar, a cigarette and a glass of wine is the best moment of my day.

Ps : I also took ecstasy once, it's not as good as peoples pretend. So if you wanted to try, don't ... It sucks and you're going to dump some money for nothing !

^^ I've always kind of wondered about ecstasy. I've never tried it, nor had much of a desire to (especially since it seems like a party drug, and I don't usually like going to parties), but the way I've heard some people talk about it, they make it sound like a magical "I love the whole world and everyone in it" sort of thing.

I can relate to the drinking/smoking until you can't even stand up thing. I've done that a few times myself, but not in a long time. It usually only happened by accident since I didn't know when to stop, and not because I wanted to. It was sort of fun in some ways, but overall it just made me feel worse afterwards.

And as for the tobacco, I'm an ex-smoker myself. I suppose that's where the animosity comes from. I used to love it and hate it at the same time; I loved the buzz of the first cig in the morning and the relaxation of the first after school/work, as well as the whole ritual of smoking, but I hated how I felt addicted to them. And I could never get all of those "smoking causes lung cancer" sort of messages out of my head while I was doing it. Anyway, I'm more glad to be over them than I miss them.

Yeah me too i mean stop smoking is not going to make me invincible, i would probably avoid cancer but i feel like i would contribute to the witch hunt against the smoker. Smoking is bad they've made their point with the cancer lungs images over the internet and the cigarette packs but i think some peoples are going to far. Like if i smoke a cigarette in front of a non smoker in a street i'm almost accused of being a murderer. When i was a kid peoples were more respectful toward that and a lot of other things, now i hear some 20 something playing adults and making morals about stuff they've never tried just to fit in. If smoking was trendy they would be the first to tell you to smoke 3 packs per day to look cool. One day i'm going to go near one of them and ask them :

Me : Did you know that's it's not the tobacco itself that is bad but the combustion of it that gives the cancer ?
Random Dude :  No
Me : Then shut the hell up and come back when you'll know the subject.

It's maybe a little rude but still ... I'd like to give them a piece of my mind about that before my last smoke, because i'm planing to stop this year. I need to gain more pound and do some more sport. /rant

I wasn't targeting non smoker or you prometheus, it was about a part of the population i can't stand.

what irony!!!....my best friend promised me he wont smoke again in october, today he called me in the middle of the class, brought me outside and said he wanted to smoke...well yeah!.....a smoke is more important for him than a promise made to his so called best friend...me

SO, i am goin to have my first smoke tomorrow in my most-recently post teen years... i need to know, what made him break his promise. AND yeah, today i was certified as a loner, cuz i lost all faith on my best friend
