I made simple fried clams. I just put boiled clams, flour, salt, korean chilli powder in plastic bag , shook it and fried. I ate it with instant hot ramen.

General Tso's microwave chicken lol. Beforehand I watched a documentary titled "in search of general Tso" from which I learned what I already knew, The Chinese in China have no idea what general Tso's chicken is. But there really was a general Tso from Hunan province who put down the peasant rebellion and resisted European colonialism, all to give his name to a dish that did not exist until the 1960's in Taiwan which is completely unrecognizable to the general Tso's dish found in every American Chinese resteraunt of today. Very interesting, for someone interested in history, culture, American monsterism and Asian cooking this was intersting. Did you know that the US congress forbid lower class Chinese from entering the country until the 1940's and at one point (a past life memory has me shudder here) in the 1800's it was actuallly legal to kill Chinese in America.

Today i made Indian omelette-burger. Instead of using ground meat, i used leftover ragout as the burger (made of flour, fried onions, milk, mashed potato, and cheese), the burger's fried on both sides until brown and crisp, and then i poured the egg over the burger (mixed with slices shallots, curry/masala powder, salt, and chilli) and cooked til done. It was a good vegetarian "burger" :D

I've been cooking from Chloe's Kitchen cookbook, although I really hate using recipes. Today I made avocado pesto with linguine, using cashews instead of pine nuts. Pretty awesome.

Sounds delicious.

My basic diet varies a lot, but here's what I've been eating lately.

Bean soup.

Red cabbage, large garlic clove, red onion, maybe some frozen kale in a 1 to 1.5 cup electric chopper.

Put chopped veggies and herbs into soup bowl.  Put a little water in chopper bowl, rinse around a little and pour into soup bowl.  (Avoids waste.)

Spoon in some canned fat free refried beans.

Sprinkle some curry powder on.

Mix carefully.

Put some frozen broccoli and peas on top, and a slice of vegan cheese.  (I use Daiya Jalapeno Havarti.)

Put bowl in larger soup bowl or on plate.  Cover with microwave cover.  Microwave on high for 8.5 minutes.

Take out carefully---it'll be hot---and let cool a little or eat hot if you want.  You might want to stir it a little.

I also have a cup of green or hibiscus tea.  I don't drink it hot, or with my meal, but sip it throughout the day.  Tea tends to inhibit some nutrients, like iron and zinc.

Maybe I'll add other things from time to time.
